A New Chapter at DASAL: Kutay Çağıl Büyüköztürk Appointed as General Manager

A significant leadership transition has taken place at DASAL Aerospace Technologies, with Kutay Çağıl Büyüköztürk assuming the role of General Manager.

DASAL, which contributes to the operational capabilities of security forces through its innovative unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms, aims to further strengthen its engineering capabilities and organizational structure with this appointment.

Kutay Çağıl Büyüköztürk has undertaken key responsibilities in critical projects within the Altınay Defense Group for many years. Between 2020 and 2024, he served as UAV Platforms Engineering Manager at DASAL, playing an active role in building the company’s UAV engineering infrastructure. Most recently, he held the position of Deputy General Manager responsible for Engineering at Altınay Defense. In his new role, Büyüköztürk will lead DASAL’s growth and global competitiveness objectives.

Kutay Çağıl Büyüköztürk, General Manager of DASAL Aerospace Technologies, outlined his priorities for the new term as follows:

Our primary focus is to rapidly analyze field feedback, continuously improve our systems, and deliver high-localization solutions to the inventory of our security forces without interruption. By combining Altınay Defense’s strong engineering heritage with DASAL’s agile production capabilities, we will continue to enhance the operational effectiveness of our platforms.”
